A NIGHT UNDER THE STARS

On Thursday 15 August, in conjunction with the Perth Observatory, Aveley North Primary School hosted A Night Under the Stars. The skies cleared and we were treated to some spectacular sights. Through the telescopes we were able to see the Moon and it’s craters, Saturn and it’s rings, Jupiter and 3 of it’s 79 moons and some “young” nebulas which are actually 14 million years old. A great night was had by all.

A huge thank you to the P&C who warmed our bellies with their delicious hot soup.
