Our

Aveley North PS offers an education support program which is dynamic, and specialises in education for students with special needs. The School is dedicated to working collaboratively with families of students with special needs to develop many exciting initiatives and establish partnerships throughout the community. Within the program we have small classroom sizes with a higher staff ratio. Teachers and education assistants are specially trained in educating students with disabilities and autism.

All families are individual and unique. At Aveley North PS we work collaboratively to ensure that we are working on common goals and targets and each student is planned for individually. Each student works towards goals outlined within their Special Education Needs (SEN) Planning which is written in collaboration with parents and other agencies such as therapists. The plan outlines academic, social and emotional goals which will be targeted. A student’s progress is reported on formally at the end of each semester.

We are able to take enrolments at any time throughout the year subject to capacity and eligibility, and are able to meet with families for tours and more information regularly
