BREAKFAST CLUB
Breakfast Club is a school program by Foodbank that gives students the opportunity to eat a wholesome, nutritious breakfast on a regular basis. Having breakfast has been shown to have a positive impact on factors such as physical and mental health, social skills, concentration, behaviour, attendance and academic outcomes.
Breakfast Club at Aveley North Primary School is held every Tuesday morning. All students from Years 1-6 can come to the Yarkiny Block wet area from 8.10-8.30am to eat a healthy breakfast. This will allow them to enter their classrooms fuelled for the their full day of learning. There will be a selection of food such as vegemite or jam toast, weetbix with milk, fruit salad, spaghetti or beans on toast.
