On Thursday 23 March Aveley North Primary School will be celebrating Harmony Day. We would love our families to join us for a picnic that afternoon to celebrate our diverse community. The picnic will start at 12:30pm on the Maali oval. The picnic will finish at 1:30pm and students will return to class. We will have some books to share and some activities. There will be plenty of equipment to share and would love you to join your child in play. If you can not make the picnic we would love if you could provide a picnic lunch for your child to enjoy with their classmates or another family.
Harmony Day is a day where we support and celebrate our diversity and multi-cultural community. This years theme is Everyone Belongs. You are welcome to dress your child in orange or any cultural dress they may have at home already. We would love for any parents joining us to wear orange or multicultural dress for this event.
