Kindergarten is the first learning experience your child has of school – of the wonder and excitement of learning, discovery and exploration. While Kindergarten is not compulsory in Western Australia, attendance is highly recommended as your child builds on important social and emotional skills that help them throughout their school life. They also develop early maths, speaking, listening, reading and writing skills. Kindergarten programs are delivered by qualified early childhood teachers for the equivalent of 15 hours per week.
At Aveley North PS, children will attend two full days per week in addition to an alternating full day every second week. The links to the timetables below will outline the days that each group attend this year.
