Aveley North PS opened its doors for the first time on 31 January 2018 as an Independent Public School with 99 students and 11 staff members. The School was established to cater for the significant growth in population in suburbs through the Eastern corridor of Perth including – Aveley, The Vines, Belhus and Ellenbrook – and is one of several government primary schools in the area.
In 2018 the School catered for students in Kindergarten and Pre Primary and this was extended to Year 6 in 2019. The school is situated on Strinesdale Boulevard, within the suburb of Aveley.
The School comprises permanent facilities of 6 teaching blocks, an education support facility, administration area, dental therapy centre, undercover area, library and extensive sporting facilities including multi-purpose courts and an oval. The entire school site sits on a generous 5.5Ha. All classroom teaching blocks are air-conditioned and every classroom has an interactive Televisions and access to ICT connectivity.
The School continues to evolve as it responds to the growing needs and aspirations of this burgeoning community.
